How to Improve Workplace Productivity with
Suizan Schacherer

I help organizations turn sustainable wellness into measurable results.

The ROI of Employee Health

demo reel coming soon (2).mp4

Too many organizations are losing productivity, engagement, and retention because their employees are overwhelmed, burned out, and stuck in unsustainable health habits that no amount of motivation can fix. I help companies turn everyday wellness into measurable business results by showing employees how to make small, realistic changes that improve energy, focus, and resilience—without adding more pressure to already full lives. Through practical, behavior-based strategies rooted in real-life experience, I equip teams to replace guilt and burnout with consistency and ownership—creating healthier employees who are more present, productive, and capable of doing their best work every day.

Poor employee health isn’t just a personal issue—it’s a business expense. American companies lose hundreds of billions of dollars every year to absenteeism, presenteeism, burnout, and preventable chronic conditions that quietly reduce focus, energy, and productivity on the job. When employees are physically present but mentally or emotionally depleted, performance suffers, mistakes increase, and engagement declines—costing organizations far more than sick days alone.

By equipping employees with realistic, sustainable health strategies they can actually maintain, organizations can reduce lost productivity, improve attendance, strengthen engagement, and support long-term performance from the inside out. The result is a workforce that shows up healthier, works more effectively, and contributes more consistently—turning wellness from an expense into a measurable performance advantage.

Meet Suizan Schacherer

Suizan Schacherer is a health speaker who bridges physical "well-being" and workplace culture, helping organizations support employees in sustainable behavior change that improves productivity and reduces absenteeism. After spending more than 35 years in the corporate world—while navigating life as both a married and single mom raising two daughters—Suizan understands firsthand the toll that stress, long hours, and competing responsibilities can take on employee health and performance.

Her perspective was shaped by her own 100+ pound weight loss journey, where she discovered that lasting change doesn’t come from willpower alone, but from small, consistent behaviors that fit into real life. Through lived experience, she learned how guilt, burnout, and all-or-nothing thinking can quietly sabotage both personal well-being and professional effectiveness.

Today, Suizan helps organizations move beyond surface-level wellness initiatives by equipping employees with practical strategies that improve energy, focus, and resilience—without adding more pressure to already full schedules. Her message empowers teams to take ownership of their health in sustainable ways, creating stronger workplace cultures and employees who are more present, engaged, and capable of performing at their best.

Signature Keynotes

Better Health = Better
Employees

More than half of U.S. workers are overweight or obese.

Organizations often assume their biggest productivity leaks come from inefficient meetings, outdated tech, slow processes, or bureaucracy. One of the biggest performance drains is far less visible: absenteeism, and its quieter cousin, presenteeism, when employees are physically present but underperforming due to stress, fatigue, illness, or morale.

*“Depression and anxiety alone account for 12 billion lost workdays and roughly $1 trillion in productivity losses each year.”*¹

The truth is, the weight of these challenges isn’t just physical—it’s organizational. A healthier workforce means sharper focus, more energy, fewer sick days, and stronger overall performance. But lasting change doesn’t come from quick fixes or guilt-driven programs; it comes from building a culture where sustainable wellness is possible, even in the busiest workplace.

In this session, I’ll share lessons from my own journey of losing 100 pounds and keeping it off for over 20 years. Attendees will discover how small, consistent habits and honest self-awareness create powerful momentum for lasting health. Most importantly, they’ll see how extending grace—to themselves and to one another—can turn wellness into a shared path of growth. These practical strategies not only help employees feel and perform better, but they also strengthen the business itself, creating healthier people and more productive cultures in the workplace.

In This Keynote, The Audience can expect to:

  • Harness the power of small, consistent changes to create lasting results.

  • Embrace your health journey as a sustainable lifestyle, not a temporary diet.

  • Transform guilt into purposeful action and find peace with your personal story.

  •  Identify your strengths and weaknesses to build a strategy more effective than willpower.

Walking on Road

Walking Off the Weight-
and the Shame

Suizan's Story: From Accidental Healthy Mom to
Empowered Advocate

Born 9 pounds 9 ounces, my struggle with weight started on day one—and it didn’t get easier. I filled my plate like it was my last meal, inquired about dinner while eating lunch, and grew up hearing, “Suizan, you have such a pretty face… should you be eating that?” None of these comments ever inspired me to lose weight. Shame never does. But transformation doesn't begin with guilt—it begins with honesty.

I used to believe willpower was the answer. I now know it's about sustainability, self-awareness, and giving yourself grace. The truth is, if I only ate when I was hungry, I wouldn’t have ended up 100 lbs overweight. And if I waited until I felt “ready,” I might never have started. Everything changed after my mommy makeover. I had just undergone major elective surgery, and I wasn’t about to take that for granted, being a mommy of two. I went for a walk. Then another. One block turned into many. Walking became weight training. I joined a gym. When I returned to my doctor a year later, I had lost another 60 pounds—and gained something far more powerful: momentum.
Twenty years later, I’m still 100+ pounds lighter. I’m stronger. Healthier. Happier. Not because I followed a perfect program, but because I found the habit that stuck. I became the accidental healthy mom—and discovered that the only program that works is the one you’ll actually do.

This is a raw, real, and inspiring talk for anyone who’s ever felt like lasting change was impossible. I’m living proof it’s not.

In This Keynote, I'll Share:

  • Why your health journey should never be a diet, but a lifestyle

  • How to turn guilt into action—and make peace with your story

  • Why knowing your strengths and weaknesses is more effective than willpower

  • The power of small, consistent changes

Raceday with Family- visualizing that finish line was motivational

For most of my 35+ year corporate career, I lived the same reality many employees are facing today—long hours, constant pressure, and very little margin to care for my own health while raising two daughters as both a married and single mom. I know what it’s like to try to “fit in” wellness between meetings, deadlines, and responsibilities that don’t stop when the workday ends. After losing 100 pounds myself, I learned that real, lasting change doesn’t come from motivation, challenges, or perks—it comes from honest conversations and sustainable habits that address the root of the problem.

That’s why my 13-week coaching workshops are designed to help organizations move beyond surface-level wellness initiatives like pizza parties and step challenges, and instead invest in meaningful behavior change. Together, we create space for employees to take ownership of their choices, confront the patterns that are impacting their health and performance, and build realistic habits that support their
energy, focus, and resilience over time.

Because investing in your employees’ well-being isn’t about offering another temporary incentive—it’s about equipping them to make life-altering decisions that help them show up more present, productive,
and capable both at work and at home.
